Where in WV will you find Irish Rock Music, African Drummers, German Folk Music, Middle Eastern Dancers, and Martial Arts Demos sharing the same stage? Where can you eat Polish Kielbasa, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Italian Pizza, Funnel Cakes, Chinese Egg Rolls, Cotton Candy, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, and an all American hot dog within steps of one another? At the MOVMCF at the Parkersburg City Park in Wild Wonderful WV!
The Festival is free to the public and celebrates diversity with a smorgasbord of artists and performers. The goal of the MOVMCF is to highlight a variety of cultural and ethnic groups, showcasing artistic performances of traditional music and dance. Representatives of the festival believe that all people are enhanced by exposure to groups different from themselves and, in today's world, appreciation and understanding are more important than ever.
Join us this year for our first ever Irish Opening Night. Celtic music groups, RUNA and The Prodigals will be coming all the way from New York to entertain us here in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Door and raffle prizes will also be a part of the opening evening.
