Harmonia:  Friday 6:00 pm

Performing on authentic folk instruments, and styled after turn of the century East-European Gypsy bands, their music is drawn from both the urban and rural traditions of Eastern-Europe. The ensemble's performances evoke the full range of human emotions; interspersing fiery, passionate virtuosity with soulful melancholy and nostalgic yearning. Michael Jacobs Saturday, 4:00 pm

There's no doubt that Cherokee recording artist Michael Jacobs is a remarkable and creative musician. A powerful singer, his passionate delivery is impressive. He sings like he means it... because he does.

His incredible blend of Native American and American “roots” music, a mixture of pop, rock, and folk, artfully fuses contemporary and traditional sounds and powerful imagery.  As an artist, Michael's not interested simply in educating people about Native American culture or "Native" issues. His songs address human issues: peace, justice, suffering, the environment, relationships, wholeness, and even spirituality. His music soothes, encourages, and challenges the listener.

Bobby is a musician with a rare perspective on life, love and the human spirit. He spent 11 years travelling the world with the U.S. Air Force where he learned that compassion and truth are the hallmarks of good people and not just determination and ambition. Appalachian Celtic Consort  Saturday, 7:30 pm

The Appalachian Celtic Consort plays traditional Irish and Scottish music mostly, but also a little old-time and some original compositions. If you are a die-hard traditionalist you might notice that their music has a little different sound than some Celtic groups -- hence the word Appalachian in our name. Our hills and mountains were settled by Scotch-Irish immigrants, and the music they brought with them has picked up a bit of local flavor.
